In addition to monitoring & alerting, Sentry-go provides a wealth of information directly to your desktop via your Web Browser or the Client Console & Sentry-go Desktop Browser, making access quick & simple. Reports are generated using a fully integrated web server so there's no additional software or configuration required.

Standard Reports

The in-built web server is fully integrated into the Sentry-go Monitoring System. Some reports are standard, such as the System Summary, Current Monitoring Status & Recent Alerts. Others are available depending on the monitoring components installed.

The System Health Indicator

Most web reports contain an indicator bar, known as the System Health indicator. Using cached values, Sentry-go calculates the overall performance of all checks as they are run. The percentage shown here is the percentage of checks that, when last ran, were successful.

It provides “at a glance” confirmation on the status of all checks being performed and whether not this overall performance (the trend) is improving or worsening.

Publishing Web Reports

Sentry-go also allows you to publish key web reports to an external server, via standard network copy or FTP. This is an ideal way allowing read-only access to users from outside your firewall without the need to reduce security on the Sentry-go monitoring system.
