purchased a full (non-evaluation) licence. For example, from version 4.1 to 4.2
or 4.x etc.

Upgrading Sentry-go Plus!
|
The Sentry-go Plus! Setup Wizard allows you to upgrade an existing installation
to a new release of the base software. Simply run it on your existing system and
click "Upgrade".

Due to differences between the underlying architecture, it is not possible to
directly upgrade from a Sentry-go Quick Monitor to Sentry-go Plus! The two solutions
can, however, run alongside each other on the same server.
In most cases, it is not necessary to run the Setup Wizard to install new
components - you simply add the required licences to add the appropriate
functionality. Once reconfigured, the new options will be enabled automatically.
However, in some cases, monitoring components may require an update to the base monitor.
In this case, simply run the Setup Wizard on your existing system and click
"Upgrade".

If you have a customised version of a Sentry-go product, please contact us for further assistance
before installing any upgrade. Installing the default solution may cause your customisations to be lost.

Verify it operates correctly on your environment by running it on a test server.
We recommend that you check that your current tests & alerting options continue
to work in a test environment before upgrading your live software.

Run the Setup Wizard on your current system. The Wizard will detect the upgrade
and prompt you to retain your existing settings, or install default values.
