Monitoring Processes |

|
Monitoring Windows processes (.exe, .com etc.) running on your servers - most
notably critical tasks or tasks that are restricted can be key to ensuring the
correct operation of those machines.
|
|
|
Process monitoring is easy with Sentry-go. The Sentry-go Process monitor
plugs into the Sentry-go
Monitoring System, either as part of a Quick Monitor or as an individual
Sentry-go Plus! monitoring component. It allows you to monitor the status of Windows
processes running on the local server to ensure that either a given number of
copies are running, or to ensure a process doesn't run. If failures are
detected, the process can be launched or terminated automatically to ensure
continuaity is maintained.
Alerts can also be raised as appropriate to warn you of failures or where
further investigation is required.
